Based on the analysis of numerous software development projects in various organizations some guidelines for cm process optimization has been formed.

Using these guidelines we conduct interviews with a selection of process participants. As a result we are able to visualize the greatest problems up front and alleviate them in advance.

The following essential fields will be closely examined:

  • the product and project business in terms of the dynamics of the target market
  • the software itself regarding its complexity and modularity
  • the current development process including the distribution of roles, development methods and languages, impact of quality assurance etc.
  • the state of knowledge and motivation of the team members
  • the tools used and the development environment
  • the IT infrastructure (server, network, protocols, locations, remote access etc.)
