SubConf 2007: elego as exhibitor; workshop "SCM-Patterns with Subversion"; company presentation "SPICE with Open Source Tools"
The workshop "Implementing SCM-Patterns with Subversion" was rated by participants as very useful for their own work. The tool-neutral software configuration management (SCM) patterns of Berczuk and Appleton were discussed and then demonstrated in Subversion.
The exchange of experience and knowledge among the participants, who were well-versed in various CM concepts, was especially fruitful. The discussions continued long after the workshop and into the evening.
elego's exhibit stand was busy throughout the conference. On display was an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) solution, implemented entirely with open source tools, for managing software development from requirements to build and test.
There was also significant interest in the subject of "SPICE with Open Source Tools", in which the modeling of a SPICE-conformant development process was demonstrated using the Eclipse Process Framework (EPF) and the tool support of the ALM solution described above.
