Vom 16. bis 20. Juni trafen sich Subversion Committer bei der elego Software Solutions GmbH in Berlin zum diesj\u00e4hrigen Hackathon.<\/p>\n

Anwesend waren Subversion Entwickler verschiedener Firmen aus dem Umfeld des Apache Subversion Projekts. Mit dabei waren CollabNet, WANdisco, VisualSVN, elego und CoDeSys.<\/p>\n

Neben den \u00fcblichen Aktivit\u00e4ten wie Weiterentwicklung und Fehlerkorrekturen lagen\u00a0Diskussionen hinsichtlich der Verfolgung von Umbenennungen, des neuen FSFS7 Repository Formates sowie zum bevorstehenden Subversion 1.9 Release im Fokus des Hackathons.<\/p>\n

Die Entwicklungsphase von Subversion 1.9 n\u00e4hert sich ihrem Ende. Dieses Release wird ein weiterentwickeltes FSFS Repository Format, bessere Performanz, erh\u00f6hte Skalierbarkeit des svnserve Servers \u00fcber mehrere CPU Kerne, viele Verbesserungen des Subversion Clients und etliche Fehlerkorrekturen bieten. Die Entwicklung von gr\u00f6\u00dferen neuen Features, insbesondere des Verfolgens von Umbenennungen, wird mit Subversion 1.10 und dar\u00fcber hinaus fortgesetzt werden.<\/p>\n
