Brian Behlendorf at elego office in Berlin

Apache founder and CollabNet CTO Brian Behlendorf recently visited the elego office in Berlin, Germany for a chat about free software development and its interface with the business world.  In partnership with CollabNet, elego is implementing tree conflict detection for an upcoming release of Subversion, the well-known free version control system.

Brian led the team that created Apache, the world's most popular web server and an influential free software project.  He had a lot to say about the demand for high-quality open source software in business and about the cultural shifts that accompany the introduction of open source software and participation in open source software development.

As a provider of software development, training, and consulting services, elego hopes to ease these transitions for its customers.
